Cohort Course request information

MAIL-IN COURSE REQUEST PROCEDURE
Follow these instructions to request courses for Summer 2008. Course Request packets must be received in our Chapel Hill office by the posted deadline.
- Before you begin, print these instructions.
- Click on the name of your Cohort which is listed below.
- Click on the course Prefix/Title.
- Read the information on the Course Detail Page to determine if this is the course you need.
- Click on Request this Course.
- Log in to complete the Client Data Sheet.
- Print the Client Data Sheet.
- Print the Course Request packet.
- Complete & return the entire Course Request packet.
- Follow the directions on the Cover Sheet for each course, including mailing instructions.
- Make a copy of your completed Course Request packet for your personal records.
Due to the large volume of clients we are serving this semester, NCMTEC will return incomplete packets! This will require you to make the necessary corrections and resubmit your packet by the published deadline.
Listed below are some of the common mistakes that clients have made which resulted in their packets being returned as incomplete.
- Cover Sheet check list/instructions not followed
- Incorrect form of payment submitted - NCMTEC will accept Money Orders ONLY – which must be made payable to UNC General Administration
- Cover Sheet not included
- Client Data Sheet not printed & signed (one for each course)
- Pay stub not included in the packet
- Please check your Course Request packet carefully before mailing!
What happens next?
Within seven days after the NCMTEC deadline, we will send an email notifying you that your Course Request packet has been received and processed.
Click on the name of the Cohort to view the course(s) offered.
Fall 2008 Cohort List
For Fall 2008 there are a limited number of undergraduate and add-on cohorts open for new enrollment. To determine eligibility click on More Info for the current status of each cohort. All graduate level cohorts are closed for new enrollment.
SPECIAL NOTE: Beginning Fall 2008, you can only request sponsorship for ONE graduate course per semester to fulfill a graduate license / degree purpose. Graduate course sponsorship requests beyond one course will be returned to the client.
