Praxis I Reading, Writing and Math Seminars
MTEC is sponsoring one day Praxis I test preparation seminars. The goal of this service is “test-ready” Praxis candidates for the Praxis I Reading. Writing and Math tests. A Praxis I total score of 522 is required for admission into university teacher education programs.
Criteria for Participation: Spring seminars are for candidates who are registered for a May, June or July Praxis I test. Documentation that you are registered for the test (i.e. ticket or receipt with test date) must be included in your application package. During test registration, you should enter score recipient code 5460 to indicate that MTEC will be one of your free score recipients.
Registration fee: $20 copay for employees of MTEC partnering school systems. Priority will be given to these applicants.
$40 registration fee for candidates not employed by a partnering school system. The non-refundable registration fee will assist toward lunch, instructional materials and other program expenses.
Deadline for registration: On line application, mail-in payment and documents must be received two weeks prior to the seminar date.
