Additional Courses for Lateral Entry Teachers

Some community colleges are offering the following courses which are often required to clear a lateral entry or provisional license. Teachers may take these courses from the community college instead of a university. The cost is $60 per course (in-state tuition rate) and textbooks will be paid by NCMTEC.

Please note that these courses are not appropriate for individuals who are earning a first four-year degree in teacher education. They are only appropriate for those seeking to complete the requirements on their lateral entry license.
